Charles is a marketing and business growth adviser to a range of organisations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, including multi-national organisations, professional firms, software companies and membership organisations.
Since 1986 Charles has worked with businesses in all parts of the world to develop their business and marketing strategies. From 1995 to 1999 he was Executive Director responsible for building MacIntyre Straeter International Limited (now MSI Global Alliance) into an international force (200+ firms worldwide, annual fee income of US$700m). During this time, Charles embedded the need for regular employee and client satisfaction survey projects among the member firms and developed a strategy and business planning process for all practices, writing the marketing book The Roadmap to Successful Marketing. Since that time this program has been further developed with application to all types and size of organisations and it forms a mainstay of the StrategyCo business philosophy.
Most recently Charles has been integrally involved as a founding partner of Specsavers in Australia and New Zealand. Since launch in 2008 the optical and audiology store network has grown to 400 optical stores and 150 audiology businesses.
Charles is a Certified Practicing Marketer as a member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
